Why did you choose South America as your next destination ?

For four years we are drinking tea and eating rice in Asia, so we were looking for tequila and red bean !

How long will you stay in South America and how many countries will you go thru ?

We are going for a one year trip ... that looks like a lot but for such a continent like South America it's not long : in total, there are 13 countries and we plan to discover 10 of them (excluding French and Netherland Guyana and Surinam)

What kind of transportation will you use ?

We want to buy a car in Santiago del Chile in order to make the over-all trip ... hope that we will be fine with the mechanic or roberring.

What do you need to prepare for your expedition ?

We have to look for a maximum of information in guide books like Lonely planet and browsing the internet.

We pick the best weather period to plan our trip, to avoid snow in Ushuaia, rain in Colombia or Peru, and eventually try to be in Brazil for the Rio Carnival in February.

We are trying to imagine all the difficulties that we will be facing like border crossing, mechanical problems, etc ... and we try to find the best solutions.

We need 4 to 6 months of preparation, but we try to leave some other things for surprise ! That's the part of the fun !

What do you bring with you ?

You will find some answers in our "Packing list" which shows you an equipment list, our medecines and vaccines.

We also bring a lot of enthousiasm, curiosity and confidence :-)

How will you get connected with the websurfers ?

Our web site will include all our e-mails, travel tips, pictures and small video.

This web site will allow you to follow us, and to travel with us !

What will be your resources during the whole trip ?

We are going to break our moneybox, we are saving money for more than one year, which will allow us to cover 80% of the expenses.

We are also looking for sponsorship to get all the photographic equipments and to manage the web site.

Which partners will follow you during this adventure ?

We are searching for sponsors : an internet partner would be fine, and another one who will supply us with photographic equipments.

In exchange, we can bring them some advertisement on our web site, or doing market survey during our trip.

Which record do you want to beat ?

Traveling as long as possible without having any stomac problem (do you need more details ?!).

We do not target for any record for the moment.

After Algeria, Tunisia, Canada, United States, India, Thailand, Malaisia, Cambodia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, China, Hong Kong, South Korea,Vietnam, Israel and Australia, and soon South America, what would be your next destination ?

We think about more exotic destinations like Corsica, Britany, Auvergne ... some pleasant places whereby the flight ticket are cheaper !
