Welcome to the Around
The Worlds Web Ring.
The vision is to connect the best travelers web sites
together to help the other travelers. If you think you
have a great web site, then come and join the Around The
Worlds Web Ring !
What kind
of website do we accept ?
The question may be better
answered with another question : Why would another person
half-way around the world want to visit my site? If the
answer is they wouldn't, then the site is probably not
worth visiting.
Here are some brief guidelines
to sites that will be added to the ring and their content
:
- your website should contain
travel reports (travelogues), either in written form,
as photographs or both (should be personal experiences
and not just plain info)
- be in English or in French
- be more than merely lists
of links to other sites
- be comprehensible, appealing
and updated regularly
All sites that are part of
the Ring have to contain a short piece of HTML code that
will allow visitors to travel the ring. This code will
be send to you by email after finishing the procedure
for joining. Or you can copy the code from this page.
The code has to be inserted
on the main page of your site, or if your site contains
more than just travel reports, on the page, where the
reports section is located.
