From Batangas, you can connecton
a Ferry which leaved to Romblon / Romblon : 230 pesos
in 2nd class and 373 pesos in 1st class.
The difference between the
1st and the 2nd class ??? In any cases you
have a 3 cm mattress but the first class has AC. And...If
I tell you that the journey takes more than 12 hours,
what would you choose ?! A meal costs 50 pesos.
Lonos / Romblon
This is the island made
of Marble, there is some everywhere : in the showers,
on the beach, on the roads...
There are not so many tourists
because there is no dreaming beach, but here, people are
extremely friendly... it is one of my best memories.
In Lonos, you can stay in
White Beach Resort, with Inday & Atoy. It cost me
350 pesos for 2 meals, breakfast, the overnight in Bungalow
and with a Paddle boat during the afternoon.
Expensive ? perhaps... but Inday & Atoy make
you forget the price : breakfast and giant meals
with tasting of local rum at the end of the night.
During the daytime, find
a motor bike to run through the island or a boat to discover
the islands around. I have been on Alad Island and I think
that made a long time that they had not seen a white people...
